what's going on?

Hope everyone's summer is going well.

School got out May 31st here, and June 2nd the girls and I packed up for our

annual trip. We went to Atlanta first, where the girls spent the weekend with

my sister and brother in law, while I stayed in a hotel with 2 friends from

Mobile, went to the Jimmy Buffett concert Friday night. It was pouring, hailing

in some areas of Atlanta, thundering and lightning. Where was I------at an

outdoor concert. Our seats were under the covered area, but of course we were

soaked by the time we got to them. But we had a blast, JB said " the Braves

aren't playing tonight, but I am! " The concert was great. My friends and I

spent Saturday shopping around Atlanta, and then on Sunday I picked up the

girls. We spend that night (June 4th) in Auburn, AL with my inlaws, and then on

to Mobile to my mom's. I stayed almost 2 weeks with her and her new husband.

The girls went to the UCP camp they go to every year for a week, and had a

blast. said she danced with a cute boy, can't wait to see pictures.

Anyway, I left the girls in Alabama, and headed back to SC, spending a weekend

with my sister on the way.

Since I have been back, I have worked a few shifts, and mainly have been getting

ready for the house painting. I am also using this time to clean out closets,

drawers, etc., vacuum and dust everything. So much fun. But what is fun is

that I haven't cooked once since coming back. The girls are having a wonderful

time with their Nana and . is doing SO bowling while there, and

is continuing with tennis. The girls are staying a little later than usual this

year, because the Antiques Roadshow is going to be in Mobile, and my mom has

tickets, and is taking a couple items for appraisal. I hope she will be

filmed, that would be a hoot.

When the girls get back, our summer will mainly be spent quietly, doing beach

and pool, along with other fun stuff. The highlight will be the NDSC convention

in July, this will be the first we have ever attended and I am really looking

forward to it.

And then school starts again August 17th, and both my girls will be in middle

school. I no longer have an elementary school student in my house, and we know

what that means....................no more wrapping paper to sell!!!

Hope everyone is having a great summer. I hope to see this next week for

lunch. And don't forget, if you are coming to Myrtle Beach, let me know, maybe

we can arrange to get together. I had a great time with (Myah's mom), and

always have fun with .
