Guest guest
Hi! Tonight my attempt at the Cathe Step Heat is complete! I made it through the whole workout!!! I'm very sweaty and thristy...I can say that she didn't use very many moves I haven't done before it is just a faster pace than I am used to. Warm-up: 8 minutes--Fast pace from the beginning! Regular floor aerobics that eventually end up on the step. Step Segment 1: 26 minutes--Moderate/fast pace in which Cathe sets up combinations then you put the combinations together at the end for both sides. She keeps you moving and gives high impact options (fun--though I didn't do all of them) Lunges, stradles, knee ups, repeaters, rocking horses, over the step, diagonal moves. Sometimes she moves so you are exercising with your back to the TV!! Step Segment 2: 10 minutes--I was fairly tired at this point (endless t-steps) but she gives small breathers in between the combinations but blasts you when the combinations are put all together at the end! Cool Down: 11 minutes-- On and off of the step-- not very complicated. Abs: 7 minutes--Intense straight forward crunches, obliques twist, lower abs lift combos. Not easy at all! I had lots of fun with this! Can't wait to do it again...have to work out a few of the combinations and the arms. She says that this is an advanced workout (made in 1995)but probably is not compared to her newer workouts. Stacey
