Hi , I am not an expert in any way but everything you said is true - we aren't teenagers and our joints can only take so much. I am prone to plantar fasciitis and feet issues and I couldn't do Imax more than once or twice a week. I wouldn't do regular stepping (again, for me) more than three times a week. In addition, if you always do the same kinds of exercises your body adapts to them and you won't see any quick changes in your body. You really need to mix it up to see results. Just my 2 cents!
