Guest guest
Do you mean a veg threader? This one is like mine. I thread potatoes and wrap the threads around salmon. Saute until the potato threads are nicely tender and brown. When the potato is done the fish is cooked. I usually serve it on a bed a braised spinach.<http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias=aps & field-keywords=vegetable+threader & x=0 & y=0> The new edition ofCyberfeasts and FoodstocksSecond Helping is available<http://www.cyberfeasts.com/cookbook2.htm>
Guest guest
wow, that sounds like a fantastic way too cook and serve salmon. um, re the veggie threader: how often do you use this and for what other things? that's a hefty price for only making a salmon dish....but the threader does look well made. ammello > > Do you mean a veg threader? Guest guest
Hi. I'm wondering about your veggie threader...Does it leave a large 'core' of uncut veg in the center? As I've looked, it appears to me that many of them do leave a large core, so shredding carrots, for example, can be tricky... Beth > > > > Do you mean a veg threader? This one is like mine. Guest guest
Y'know, I was wondering that, too. It seems that this is the fatal flaw with the Sprooli. Re: vegetable threader Hi. Guest guest
My Fuller one does leave one core, not exceptionally large. I grow baby carrots, which are of course small by nature, and I do those in the Fuller. The cores I just throw into a smoothie, or save them in my scrap jar for compost tea or stock. One time when I curled a lot of carrots, I fried the cores into carrot fries-they were quite yummy! From: <kareningotham@...>Subject: Re: Re: vegetable threader Date: Monday, March 7, 2011, 12:25 PM Y'know, I was wondering that, too.
