Guest guest
Hi everyone. I'll post a workout pic here as soon as i can get one, I don't have a digital camera. But I'm afraid if I post one here, people will get scared and run screaming down the road. Ok, bought original Firm tape Saturday at Ross. I love this tape. I used this tape in the late 80's when it came out and I got a kick butt body in about 2 months. It may be cheesy and oh so 80's but it's a darn good tape. I need to do something different than TaeBo and I may just use TB cardio only and do the weight with the Firm. I like the older Firm series and I really think they are much better than the newer ones, my opinion only. Ate out at lunch and dinner last night with a man I met (our 2nd date). I'm not used to eating out and my hands were puffy this morning from all that salt. Since I cook all the time, dining out is kinda toxic to me. Dining out and fast food holds ZERO appeal to me now and eating only fruits and veggies and good carbs appeal to me. I'm going to tell this man that our dates cannot revolve around dining out. If he wants to bring over some groceries we can cook here. We'll have to do something different as I'm not gaining back any of this weight I've lost. Mangos are in season and I bought some yesterday. They are sublime. I could eat them every day. Good high caliber food really makes a difference. My mood, my energy levels and all aspects of my life are different since I cleaned up my diet. You know there is saying, once the mind is opened, it never goes back to its original size. You know if I never dined out or ate fast food again, it would not bother me. I'd rather sock money away in my retirement account or spend time with my nephews and travel than to spend money on dining out. The only thing I like is sweets and I cannot have sweets in my apartment as I have ZERO self control with sugar. So once a week I buy myself some high quality chocolate (in small doses) or a candy bar. I love Snickers. THAT'S what I'll do next time I go out with Jim, we'll stop by Helen Grace and get some chocolate covered strawberries! How romantic is that?
