Guest guest
Hello everyone:) I have a few questions to ask, please email me off-list! 1). I am not making soap yet, and I really need a good, handmade soap that is preferably very moisturizing, and please, no preservatives/fragrance oils, anything synthetic....I am having skin problems right now and want it as pure as possible. (No flames please, alright? I have my reasons.) I have found plenty of sites so far....but I am looking for one in particular which accepts Paypal, and has good prices (or better yet, a special going on!)Also, I haven't seen a *true* chamomile scented soap. I know true chamomile EO is pretty expensive, but this sort of shocks me. That is my favorite scent:( Doesn't anyone out there make this?? 2). I made my first batch of something the other day....cold cream! I ran out and decided to whip some up for myself. I followed a very basic recipe from the library....and it seperated in the pot on the stove. I took it out of the pot, took out my new stick blender someone just sent to me, and WOW! It whipped right up...I was totally amazed. I made it a peppermint cold cream. Now my question is this....this is *way* too greasy for me, though I did follow the recipe. Now what? Is it possible to use a smaller amount of oil? (I used sweet almond.) Or should I try a lighter oil? I want this to have the type of texture the commercial cold creams have, or somewhat close to it anyhow. Also, I want to add rosewater to it on my next try, when do I add this? And can I add rosewater & glycerine to the recipe? Eek, I know, I know....this is more than 3 questions, sorry! LOL! 3). I have some questions about a certain EO company, and I'm wondering if their EO's are non-synthetic, and are good quality. I've stuck with Aura Cacia so far, but I'm wanting to look for some others. Please email me! Thanks!
