Hi !

I have Power 90X and these can be tough workouts. It's a great series, if you can get past Tony's annoying personality - at least, to me he's annoying, many people enjoy him, especially men.

I like the variety - there are 12 dvd's that include plyometrics and core work. I have only done 4 or 5 of the dvd's so I'm not a good person to ask. He is an excellent instructor and shows many modifications. He does not mirror his cuing though, which I find unacceptable since I am an aerobics instructor and if I can do it, anybody can!! If he's getting paid the big bux to teach he should mirror his cuing! Same with Blanks! But I digress..

P90X was a gift to me so i didn't have to spend the big bux to get them. they recommend you purchase a pullup bar too because some of the dvd's include pullup exercises. I say you can substitute with extra chest presses or something :-)

In my opinon only, I think Cathe's workouts are better. She comes across as being more genuine as an instructor, and her workouts are tough!

I'd look on Ebay to get P90X after it's been out awhile.

Don't get me wrong, it's a very well put together program and the workouts are great! But if someone said, " you can either have 12 Tony Horton dvd's or 12 Cathe dvds" I'd take Cathe's without hesitation.

Hope this helps!
