Guest guest Posted May 25, 2005 Report Share Posted May 25, 2005 Tonight I did Austin Power Zone Mind Body Soul " a 40 minute workout combining Yoga, Standing Pilates and More. " The Mind part combines nostril breathing with yoga moves. It is a decent warmup for the standing pilates in the next section-Body. I enjoyed this section of the workout!! Toning the abs while standing is wonderful since I almost always pull on my neck while doing any floor ab work. The only move I didn't do was the side plank--not strong enough yet. She also used ballet dancing moves for lower body work (inner thighs). Not so hard but I really notice how tight my hamstrings are! Now for the last part--Soul. I'm not sure what Wheeler was thinking when she choreographed this part of the work out. It is a fusion of latin dance, pilates, yoga...very strange indeed. In a few spots it seemed as though was making it up as she was going along. I'm not in love with this video but it will fit into my schedule every few months for a change of pace.
