4rth Grade Goals HELP!!! Inclusion

Hi friends;

My neice will be going into the 4rth grade - fully included next

year........

We are having our ARD on Friday and I wanted to see if any of you could share

some of your 4rth Grade goals with me............any goals that you have

would be greatly appreciated

How does your teachers modify the work for things like social studies,

science etc.........to keep your child fully included in the classroom when they

are

teaching these subjects? these are the subjects that they wanted to pull

out of this year b/c they felt they were way over her

head.............but, to me why wasn't the work modified so she could stay

included???????????? Any TIPS here?

Do any of you have any social goals for 4rth grade that you could share as

well?

I know as gets older, I want to make sure that she has social

goals in her IEP - so that the teacher etc........works on them............and

that she keeps friends.........

OH and HOW do we convince them to PLEASE use the communication notebook with

us daily.............this did not go well at all this year! they would not

write it in hardly at all.........only negative things most of the

time.................we even came up with a short one page form.........woudl

have took the

teacher less than 5 minutes to fill out.......b/c she still said

no...............any help here?

If anyone has their 4rth grade goals they could share I would greatly

appreciate it......

What are some good social goals that we could include?
