Guest guest
I think that in this instance, everyone at the concert will be only interested in seeing the Wiggles and having a lovely fun time. No one is going to really notice or care that your child is " too old " to be there. There will be tons of adults along with their children... honestly, no one will think twice... and even if they DO, who are they to judge you or your child?? What makes your child happy is what counts here. Age is irrelevant. What about if you see a grown adult in the supermarket, riding on the cart... have you seen that ever??? When you do, it makes you smile, even laugh along, as you know they are having more fun than the other stuffed shirts who watch jealously, wishing they could do it too!!! Sometimes we are so concerned about what other people think, we forget to feel what we think. . writes: I think that it's a sensitive balance, but overall, wanting our kids to be happy is what we would go with. In this case, if your child is in Jr. High or HS you would not send them to school wearing a Wiggles shirt, but if he would enjoy going to the concert, go for it! Guest guest
Hi everyone I agree. Whatever makes your child(ren) happy, let them do it. I plan on taking on one more trick or treat outing this year even though he will be a freshman (he's short so can pass for a much younger child). If and Kristi want to come along before they go to the school Halloween party, they can come too! As for the Wiggles shirt, I would wear one and it has been 32 years since I was in junior high. Dad to , Kristi, (all three Down syndrome) and (Cri du chat) Husband to C. in Mo. " Daddy " to and in Calif. (both Down syndrome) tbabaker@... wrote: I think that in this instance, everyone at the concert will be only interested in seeing the Wiggles and having a lovely fun time.
