Guest guest
Hi Everybody, Someone asked that we add information to the files re: things we add to our smoothies. I scanned 10 pages from the booklet Maca Adaptogen and Hormonal Regulator by Beth M. Ley, Ph.D. and downloaded them to the files. Unfortunately, I had to download the info into 5 different files: Maca 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, so they should be read in that order. It's very interesting stuff re: what an adaptogen is, Endocrine System Effects, Stress, etc. (Here is a link for Maca at Vitacost; http://www.vitacost.com/Maca-Magic-Powder-Jar. It has 330 servings, so the cost is very reasonable in my opinion!) Joyce
Guest guest
I use this one: http://www.skyfieldtropical.com/Details.cfm?ProdID=38 & category=7 . If you use a level tsp./day and take 3 months off/year (I'm due to go back on 3/1 until 6/1), a kilo will easily suffice for a year. I used Navitas prior to this one and believe me, this one's a LOT better (not to mention a lot more palatable). I just take it straight dissolved in a little water on an empty stomach--there are data about maca in the archives. Guest guest
I just tried it and it works fine--maybe it's not enabled in your e-mail? Regardless, just do a search for "skyfield tropical" and it should pop up. The Vitacost link, on the other hand, doesn't work (I'm guessing there's period at the end that doesn't belong there; it's included in the link). Guest guest
Very interesting that it is " cooked " versus raw...
