Guest guest
I have been asked to make a soap with ground loofah in it. Anyone try this before? If so - how much would you recommend? Thanks dklunk@...
Guest guest
Maybe it's just me but I was never able to successfully powder loofah in my food processor or coffee grinder. LOL Another way to use loofah, especially the big ones, is to fill the loofah with soap and then slice it when the soap is hardened. It makes really nice soap slices that are good for gardener soap, foot soap, etc. You'll need to make sure all the seeds are removed from the loofah and then wrap the bottom and sides tightly with several layers of plastic wrap. Make sure it's wrapped and taped well and then stand the loofah up in a container for support. Fill the loofah with your MP and let the soap harden. When the soap is set, unwrap and slice into inch or so thick slices. Can be used with CP too. hope this helps, Cara www.soapjar.com

Guest guest
Someone just asked me about " soft soap " that she got in a jar. Have any of you made that? Exactly what is it? Is it a liquid based or cp soap? Thanks,

The first time I made it I didn't wrap and tape well and the MP leaked out all over. But it was easy enough to clean up and start over again. LOL Good luck!
