Guest guest Posted November 6, 2005 Report Share Posted November 6, 2005 turned 21 today, and we had a gathering of close to 20 family and friends at a local pizza/game parlor.... A good time was had by all! After the friends had all gone, and we were just family (which was still 8 of us) walked up and told me " I need money for beer " :-| So we (my two other daughters and I) walked over with her to the bar, where she proceeded to tell the bartender " I'd like a BudLight. " He told her he would need to see some ID - so she brought out her state ID card... and we explained that it was her 21st birthday today! He looked at her - looked at the ID ~ smiled ~ and said " Well, then.... it's on the house! " <<Yes, there was a little scramble with the dollars and the tip part, skillfully maneuvered by one older sister, pocketing the change to be able to play a few more games>> .... and over the next two hours she managed to drink about an inch off the top of that beer. Yes, she said she liked it. Oh - but she was *saving it for later*... and it ended up sitting on the table as we left at the end of the evening... :^) ::sigh:: 21 already.
