Guest guest
I've enjoyed reading these, I've been on the list for a short time, but haven't written much at all....so busy with the holidays but hoping things are settling down some. This may be an introduction and an update, I'm not sure if I've written an introduction before. I'm Sue, married to Mike for almost 24 years. We have 6 children. We homeschool, so all of our kids are home all of the time. Mike has a cleaning company and works full time for the local high school for the health insurance. (18) completed his high school courses last spring and now works full time for my husband, we have a cleaning company, while he saves money and decides what he wants to do with his life. Rebekah (16) is a junior, is a great help around the house, she loves to quilt and cook and wants to go to beauty school when she's done with high school. (13), also a great help around here, is a social butterfly and spends lots of time on AIM with her friends. She likes to cook, too, and is learning some crafts, knitting is the big thing at the moment. (11) collects things...anything...LOL...he also likes model cars. He's our worker bee, he did most of the garden work himself last year, planned, planted, tended and harvested (with help and direction from Mike) Lucas (5) is learning to read, loves computer and video games and really likes to be outside, though weather at this time of year doesn't permit much of that. He can be found making up his own obstacles courses and tearing through the yard. He makes us laugh every day. Ruthie (13 months, DS) is our little ray of sunshine. She's a happy, happy baby, is nearly crawling (army crawling at present), eats finger foods and is pretty good at entertaining herself. She loves to be in the middle of everything and she's just about more of a social butterfly than her sister, garnishing attention everywhere we go. She had surgery in April for an AV Canal defect and did amazingly well, home in only 2 days with nary a glitch in her progress during the recovery time. I keep everything going! LOL. I work part time for my husband at present, though before this job and after it's over I stayed home and look forward to that again. I work 5am until 9am and am very short on sleep. I spend spare minutes quilting and am able to accomplish quite a lot considering everything going on here at any given moment. That's us...in a rather large nutshell!
