Good morning.I am drinking a delicious smoothie thanks to my Vitamix - 2 cups soy milk, 200ml rolled oats, 100ml desiccated coconut and 2 frozen bananas. It tastes almost tropical - some pineapple juice (or frozen pineapple) would have finished off the tropical taste!

Yes, you can use steel cut oats. I use whole oat groats for many things,

including in my smoothies. I also make an awesome oat flour and cream of oat

cereal by grinding them in the VM. I recommend giving them a quick buzz on

their own before adding your smoothie ingredients to break them down a bit

first.

Does your dry container not cloud? Wierd. My dry container is very clouded, tho

I've only had it a year. I wonder if LeaAnne could chime in....now I'm wondering

if there's something wrong...(like perhaps it has the wrong blade or, well, I'm

at a loss...)
