Be aware, though, that something like this is going to need a lot of ice/water--these things don't taste like juice (because they're not) although you should be able to whip up something that tastes pretty good. V8 Juice recipe I looked online and most recipes called for a juicer and also used beets. I have never ever used a beet. Does anyone have any good V8 juice cocktail recipes for the Vitamix? Guest guest Posted January 14, 2011 Report Share Posted January 14, 2011 My cold green soup recipe is pretty tasty and all veggie.When I make V-8 at shows one of the keys is keep the carrot out (too fibrous) and to use Blend It Up Spice and a bit of bullion and plenty of Sea Salt if you want it to taste like the V-8 juice that you are used to. That drink is VERY salty.
