Thanks for sharking this link. I received my first ICD, a Medtronics unit with the fidelis lead that was recalled only 3 weeks after my implantation. I am doing fine; after 2-1/2 years I've never been shocked or even paced, and the leads seem to be holding up just fine. But there will come a time for replacement, so this article is of interest.
