Dr. Len mentioned on the other list that there are two basic kinds of croup.

To paraphrase, one from virus infections that usually hit in the winter and

Spasmodic croup that can be triggered by an allergy or cold and can happen

anytime. Our kids, he said, tend to get the spasmodic kind. Unfortunately it's

the one you don't out grow by a certain age.
