Guest guest Posted April 15, 2005 Report Share Posted April 15, 2005 tonights workout was for the abs: - extreme makeover - 3 abs sections - 25 mins total. the first ab section is done standing and incorporates cardio moves the second ab section is done prone and is variations of traditional crunches and back extensions the third ab section is a stretch for the abs and back i did find this workout to be pretty easy as not many reps were done and there was rest provided between exercises. it forced me to put alot more into the exercises though so that was a good thing. - firm bss1 ab sculpt - 30 mins this workout is led by lisa kay and i thought that her instruction was fine. allie del rio is in the cast and i just luv both her and jen carmen so i was happy to workout with them again. krista and libby are in the back of the class showing intermediate mods (krista) and beginner mods (libby) as per usual. they make use of the fanny lifter to put your feet on for upper ab crunches and to reduce momentum during lower body crunches and also to provide a guide for how high to hold your legs during shoot-outs/bicycle. overall i found this workout to be ok.... not that difficult until i got to the shoot-outs where i got a bit of a burn. i wish that this workout was longer but did enjoy the mermaid stretches at the end. the music was enjoyable. i do like the bss2 ab workout (firm: abs) better than this one, but im glad to have 'ab sculpt' to complete my bss1 set and it is a good ab workout if you really give it 110%. :*carolyn. -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
