Guest guest
I have a VT problem as well but drinking wine only affects my CHF not the VT or PVC's. I am glad everyone is writing. We have been quiet for sometime. Everyone please check in so we know you're OK. Kind regards, TURK From: Lynn Siprelle <lynn@...> Sent: Tue, May 11, 2010 10:24:16 PMSubject: Re: Wine? Guest guest
Turk, I'm still ticking. (18 yr old mechanical heart valve). My VT seems to have taken a vacation for the last three months but it has done that before. My family doc put a scare into me when he said I had CHF based on an EF less than 50. Cardiologist didn't think it was anything to get excited about. One of my diabetes medicines says no alcohol so I don't drink anything anymore. At cardiac rehab they suggested that we should avoid caffeine. Basically, anything that artificially affects the heart rate should be avoided. I'm sure Bill will come up with a list of things that are still allowed. Joe Schmidt God Love Us All From: Gurhan Ozdemir Sent: Wednesday, May 12, 2010 8:37 AM Subject: Re: Wine? Guest guest
God bless Joe. 18 yr old mechanical valve. In the mean time i wouldnt worry about EF less than 50. I was down to about 11% if i'm not mistaken, after taking lasix and digoxin mine fluctuates between 22 to 35%. I'm not really that worried. Lately CHF has been hitting me bad so thats why my EPS specialist is switching me from 2 lead to 3 lead . From: Joe Schmidt <glua.joe@...> Sent: Wed, May 12, 2010 1:00:49 PMSubject: Re: Wine?
