Guest guest
Dear Colleagues, Our " squeaky wheel " is being greased! Also known as getting involved can make a difference. All of this activity, that being the Workers' Comp Division re-writing all of their written literature to workers and employers as per worker's rights! Not the least of which is the fact that they cannot be told who to treat with, that they in fact can see a chiropractic physician right out of the gate etc. The issue we squawked about was that of the " steering " of injured workers to the " company doc, " " the local urgent care clinic, " or the " occupational medical center/clinic " those days be numbered dear colleagues!!! Please lets all continue to make a difference, I need you all up at the capitol on Jan. 25 7:30 AM sharp to meet with your Senators and State Representatives. If you have any questions please give me a call ASAP, Vern Saboe 541-231-4528 Project update - Notice to Injured Workers of Right to ChooseProviders > To Advisory Committee: > > Bruce Dennis Northwest Carpenters > Cia Hart Liberty Northwest Insurance > Ernie Delmazzo Injured Workers' Alliance > Ilene O'Malley Oregon Law Center > Elder Liberty Northwest Insurance > Flood Ombudsman for Injured Workers > Kay Abel Representing Injured Workers > Wilch SAIF Corporation > Lon Holston Management-Labor Advisory Committee > Cross OSIA President > Randy M Elmer Kryger Egan Elmer & Carlson PC > Beyer, PA-C Oregon Society of Physician Assistants > Sheri Sundstrom Management-Labor Advisory Committee > Vern Saboe, DC Chiropractic Association of Oregon > > Dear committee members: > > Please open the attached letter.
