It is a play about being the parent of a child with Down syndrome. Our group has gotten unsolicited communication from the author/sole actor, asking us to bring him to Chattanooga and put on the play and pay him an honorarium, and in exchange the owner of the theatre (who is a friend of his), will let us keep a night's profits as a fundraiser. We have a few concerns, one being solicited out of the blue to pay him to come here to put on his play, and also we don't know whether this play contains messages we may not want to be sending.
