Guest guest
To all of you who have attempted to help the Welker's and McClagen's of the world " see the light " , it isn't working. I admire your perseverance, but wish the entire topic would just die a much needed and timely death. While they are not going to understand the MAJORITY of what we do as chiropractors, they are also not going to convince us that they really know what they are talking about. Oh, to have that youthful exuberance again. I can still remember my first year in chiropractic when I thought I knew everything, just because someone at school told me it was so, or a particular practice management vendor convinced me it was so. Boy did I look silly when I finally learned the truth. The comment of Dr. McClagen not believing in something reminds me of patients who come in after years of medical failure stating that they just didn't " believe in chiropractors " . When I was young I took this as an insult. Now, 24 years later I don't try to convince them that I am really standing in the room with them. But when I fix their problem they are suddenly " believers " . Until you get some real world experience you think your point of view is the only point of view. Dr. McClagen, no need to respond, I will only be deleting any and all future posts regarding this matter. If everyone would simply do this, the matter would go away!!!!!!
