Guest guest
Great.....as I see it, we have these options: 1) admit to the PTs our lengthy classroom hours are overblown and unnecessary; 2) agree with PTs there is little skill involved and even less potential patient hazard; 3)agree with the MDs such Canadian and other legal situations where 'cervical manipulation' DOES constitute a measureable risk as demonstrated in the lengthy litigation reported upon by Dr. Freeman a year or 2 ago; 4) Demonstrate to WHOMSOEVER is interested OR listening, that manipulative procedures of the human cervical spine can NOT be BOTH 'HIGH risk' and such LOW risk one can master the nuances of what/what/where/when/etc...in 45 hours!!! 5) Point out the statistical analysis of ALL spine manipulation by WHOEVER does it....where the injury/educational level correlates.... It will take skilled crafting of such a position as Goldilocks and the porriage.... Not too much, not too little....in fact, just what CHIROPRACTIC education has been providing....is EXACTLY what is required.... On the other hand, checking the insurance statistics relating to such manuevers by PTs in the recent past may give us a useable metric.... J.
