Guest guest
Has anyone here ever added brewed tea to mp soap? I've got a potential wholesale customer who has tea she wants added to mp soap. She had someone else making it, but that person is no longer doing it. She said the other person brewed the tea & added it to the mp soap. Her finished product shows the loose tea in the soaps. Just curious if anyone has ever done this before. I can't imagine adding the actual tea to the mp would turn out real well. Thanks for any input! Guest guest
I've also added herbal tea, sometimes with and sometimes without the herbs. As Beth said, you can't add too much. It does make a nice soap. Diane www.GreenFireHerbs.com " Never say 'can't' when there's a 'How About This' still to be tried! Guest guest
Hi Maw! I have roughly 8 tubs of SFIC base in my shop remaining from the pallet I bought a few years ago. It has dried out a bit due to the high temps in there in summer. I called and asked. They told me to add back a bit of water. I have and it's good but at times still a bit crumbly around the edges. When I make my summer M & P soaps it's unbelievable how much stuff I add. I do roughly 1.5 T's of powdered stuff, 1.5 T's of resinous EO and 1.5T's of liquid veggie glycerine PER Quart and it comes out great. Bob > > Thanks for the info! Guest guest
This would be a cool way of adding Healing properties to your soap by making a tea with a medicinal herb (qualities for healing skin or nurishing it!) and adding to your soaps; such as Comfrey! Comfrey is called a heal all! Gabby > > Has anyone here ever added brewed tea to mp soap? > > I've got a potential wholesale customer who has tea she wants added to > mp soap.
