Guest guest
Colleen, I was gonna suggest start out with a teaspoon and see if that is enough for you. Too scratchy soap is no fun to use. Shaye
Guest guest
Colleen, I like to use about a teaspoon of herb per pound of oils, sometimes a bit more. I would probably use the same amount of calendula if I was using calendula petal bits. Using whole petals though, how much I use depends on the look I want. I use calendula infused olive oil as part of my oils to get the therapeutic benefit of the calendula. Diane GreenFireHerbs.com " Never say 'can't' when there's a 'How About This' still to be tried! LOL, tomorrow I'll have time and don't know how much! Also, what about peppermint leaves? This would be a separate batch from the calendula. Thanks!!! Guest guest
Thanks to everyone who replied! I did a batch this morning and will let you all know how it turns out. Now I've got another questions- French Green Clay. How much in a 2lb batch and how do I incorporate it so I don't get clumps? Thanks again! Guest guest
> Mix it with some of the soap at trace then add the mixture to your batch. Kinda like making gravy with flour That's what I thought Leigh, but figured I would check with the " pros. " Thank you!
