She had already been referred for physical therapy prior to being sent to my office. OHS and/or SAIF, you really can't tell them apart, required prior authorization for chiropractic since the patient had already been treated with " physical medicine modalities " . OHS stated that chiropractic was regulated under that definition. I had not heard of this before, nor have I had it happen since, but if this is something new, we need to fix it now.
