Guest guest
What show did you do Kbear? Shaye Craft sale news?? Hello, I was just wondering if since the election is over if anyone has noticed any changes with sales. Or is it too early to tell just yet?? I am asking because some thought that that was ONE of the causes for poor sales. Well all i can say is that I was just at a craft sale today and well I did good. REALLY REALLY good. I not only made back my table fe but i not only doubled it or tripled it but made back about 8 times that. With well that is soo amazing i think no way was I expecting that. Granted the table fee was EXTREMLY cheep, sooo.. I qould have been happy with doubling ot tripling it. The interesting thing was was it was a really small craft sale with only about 15 of us selling. And some said this was a bit slower then last year. I don't even think the girls next to me even sold anything. So i'm jus wondering if anyone thinks the election thing will change anything or if things will get worse??
Guest guest
It was a really really really small one for the Hamlin Craft club at the Hamlin Fire Annex building. As i said not many vendors at all. I was surprised. But the table fee was cheap enough and I sure had enough customers so i think i will definatly be doing it again. Plus they asked me to join the club which i think it will. It mets once a month and they get together to do a craft, talk, share goodies and in May they have a dinner. Sounds like fun. > What show did you do Kbear? > > Shaye >

I am so excited to have some time with him, kinda rekindle that romantic spirit and what better a place than Paris to do that...... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Doesn't that sound wonderful!! I wonder what Paris is like in December?? Ah, it doesn't matter if you're with your honey. ;-) Beth

I think since the election is over, and Wall Street reacted very favorably, and sinceI've even heard more news of hiring and other indicators of the economy picking up, it's beginning to spread. . . Time will tell, but that's my opinion so far. Beth
Guest guest
Well that is really great news to hear. I will fill you in as to how well i do this comming weekend. Though my mother is comming with me so this will be the true test. every time she comes with me i don't do as well, uless she walks away that is. She didn't know anything about the one on saturday. And i did REALLY good. But she is commign with me this weekend. if things are slow she is not comming anymore. and i am sending her home. lol lol lol She completly understands. lol Hopefully things do start picking up. But as you said it is a bit early to tell. And it could also be the fact that it is getting closer to gift giving time soo people might be buying more do to that. it's hard to say. > > From what I'd seen, earlier sales had been slow; however, there was a good > craft show in my town Sat. and Sun., and business was brisk!
