Guest guest Posted December 30, 2004 Report Share Posted December 30, 2004 Hi, Today was such a heartwarming day for me to see. had 3 of her friends over for a small holiday party. they all have special needs and ranged in age from 14-18. They came at 2 and were supposed to be picked up by 6. So they were in the basement listening to their music (mostly Usher) and singing with the microphone and dancing and eating junk food they whole time. i went down to see them occassionally- but they wouldnt let me stay. at 6, one of the parents came to pick them up and they all wanted to stay for dinner! something that has never happened before- so what do i do, but let them stay- we had enuf turkey burgers and french fries for 4 teenagers and also for 2 10 year olds (jesse and his friend- why not????) It was so amazing to see amanda host this little gathering and have such a great time. she was a very gracious hostess and did mostly everything herself- i see many more gatherings in my future! yeah!!!!!
