Guest guest
Hi Colleen, I create a tiny little bar of glycerin, wrap in plastic wrap, then into tulle, and a tiny sticker on the bottom with the name. It seems to work well and everyone begins to pass them around. Sandy
Guest guest
Thanks Sandy! Do they try to walk off with the samples when they are wrapped so pretty? Or do you just make enough in case they do? I'm not even sure the show will happen next weekend. Ivan is due to hit here middle of next week. With all the rain, I'm sure we'll be under flood watches/warnings again. went to the jockey lot Thursday to see that it had been flooded really bad from Frances! Guest guest
Hi, Nope, nobody walked off with any of the sniffies. They thought they were in a nifty package to sniff and it brought others over to check out the ooh's and aahhh's. :-) At the end, I let this one little girl have the soaps to take home. I would more than likely make an extra of each just incase they sprouted feet and walked off. Not looking forward to more rain. ;( Our roof decided to sprout a tiny leak with Frances..so today were we batting down everything we could think of up there. lol! Fingers are crossed but it does not look too good. Sandy --- " Colleen ston " wrote: Do they try to walk off with the samples when they are wrapped so pretty? Either that or pass them out to other crafters with your business card. > Our roof decided to sprout a tiny leak with Frances.. Oh no! I just checked the path and it looks like we'll be visited by Ivan somewhere between Wednesday & Thursday. I thought it was a 4 and now it's a category 5. It's really sad that so many people have lost their lives, had their homes destroyed, etc. I already told Zachary if it had alot of power behind it when it got this close that we wouldn't be here when it got here. LOL, I've got no desire to see that kind of storm up close & personal! Does anyone on the list have friends or family that has been affected by the last 2 hurricanes, or the current one? My heart goes out to all those that have been affected by them.
