their 30s and i am no where close to that) Anywho my mother was a

crafter, she has been doing silk flower arrangements for all sorts of

things and she also used to make choclate candy alot. (which bums her

out that she can't make any now for her grand kids for school do to

Weve got boxes and bags of silk flowers, leaves and ferns and such as

well as pots, foam and dried flowers in the basement.

Fabric everywhere between our house and a summer cottage, you name

it, in my room, the basement, the sewing room, my new craft room and

the dinning room.

kitchen, as well as cake tins(did i also tell you we all bake in the

family ) the cake tins make nice molds too for things, Ive got candle

molds, and soap molds in boxes in a closet.

acrylic, oil and watercolor, all in boxes and carrying bags.

quiet and empty.

and fleece fabric my mom wants to use her new embroidery machine on.

So now we have all those supplies in the mix. I also have a box of

yarn and differant threads and strings and beads and trims for making

There are 9 goose eggs in my garden from late last summer. The crazy goose

made a second nest but then she discovered I had a cat and abandoned the

nest. I figured I'd just let the eggs go back to the earth but if you

think they are useable after all this time... you can have them.

BTW I can relate to most your other crafts as well. Too many hobbys and

past hobbies.

I've got a little plaque on the wall of my soap room that says " Creative

Clutter Is Better Than Idle Neatness " !!!! :-) My Grandma was always into

every craft imaginable. I remember how I couldn't WAIT to go visit her when

I was little because she had plastic totes and cardboard boxes stacked from

floor to ceiling with tons and tons of fun things to make and do. Very cool!

Katy, I like that, its cute. My grandmother (not hubbies this time lol)

had a plaque that I still reemmber hanign in her kitchen that said. " The

hurrier you go, the behinder you get " . One of those tiny fond memories.

She was not into crafts at all but her house was spotless and everything in

its place. Too bad I didnt inherete that quality.
