Guest guest
You're lucky he has $1000. A motorcycle is not covered on an auto PIP policy. The MC owner has to have a separate MC medical policy, and most don't buy it. I had a friend reareended on his MC while commuting, came in for tx, I had to wait till settlement of the claim with the offending car drivers company. If you know the patient and or you feel they are trustworthy, get them an attorney and fix em up, otherwise you get to deal with the limited group ins , but you may need a denial on PIP to even get the group to pay...Isn't practice fun. Guest guest
Thanks for the info. Funny though... we make motorcyclists wear helmets in Oregon but do not require they have medical insurance coverage. Maybe its because a good percentage don't survive the accidents to require treatment..... Makes me want to go ride in traffic. > > You're lucky he has $1000.
