Guest guest
I have seen a couple of you guys talking about mixing pudding w/cottage cheese. I haven't seen all the recipes posted but I just mixed a litte dry ranch dressing mix with some cottage cheese and it is awesome. Just thought I would share in case someone wants a change of pace from the sweet stuff. Noelle
Guest guest
I do that exact same thing, but i cream my cottage cheese in a blender first and use it as salad dressing or chip/ veggie dip. You know, I did this yesterday with the dressing mix and cottage cheese, and dipped a bunch of raw broccoli and carrots in it. OH MY GAWD I was *so* stuffed. I usually find my cottage cheese and fruit to be a " light " meal, but this left me forcing myself to eat the remaining cottage cheese for the protein. *oOoOoOf* -- gnat! Guest guest
Just for fun, a little poll to see how many ways we can do cottage cheese? I love the stuff plain, always have, but this is pretty interesting to see everyone else's take on it. Guest guest
I have an automatic gag reflex when I see or smell that stuff. Nope the only way I have been able to stand it is when making the BFL pineapple cheesecake. > Just for fun, a little poll to see how many ways we can do cottage cheese? My favorite! I eat this about once a day! - add 1t. cocoa powder, 1 package splenda, a pinch of slivered almonds - mix with tuna and lemon pepper, serve on raw baby spinach - Tomatoes, basil, olive oil, garlic, FF parmesan cheese - mix with salsa and a pinch of sharp cheddar (great over a potato!) - add chopped apple, cinnamon, splenda - blend with splenda, cinnamon, vanilla. dip in fresh or light canned fruit. - add kidney beans and a dash of pepper - blend, add dill and white pepper, serve with cucumber on pita - the above mentioned ranch-dressing dip for broccoli and carrots - mix a T or two with egg whites for fluffy scrambled! - add wee bit to chicken, curry, serve on pita - mix with pasta sauce, low-fat mozzorella, WW noodles (like a lasagna) - sunflower seeds (mmm crunchy) - add ham, pineapple, pinch of walnuts (works good in a WW wrap) - or make a Gnatcake! I go through SO MUCH cottage cheese. Yum! -- gnat!

Guest guest
Shoot, I think I have you both beat. I just bought 3 24oz containers on Sunday and I will use the last of them up tonight. I eat it three times a day 3/4 of a cup each time. I LOVE cottage cheese, thank God it is SO good for us. > Gnat: > I think you win the award!!!
