Hi

I wanted to touch base and share that the 's survived Thanksgiving. The

day the girls and I left for the holiday I came down with the worst migraine I

have ever had. My baby sister rescued me with an Imitrex in Nashville lol she

was afraid I would not travel further to Cincinnati lol this had to be the

toughest situation I have ever been in, first celebrating without my mom and

then the terrible friction with my middle sister. See I received my letter from

my sister a week or so before my trip and she shared with me that she really

has only tolerated me for years and admitted she has shown signs of meanness and

rudeness, something she would work on. One paragraph in a 3-page letter (by

the way it was single spaced, size 8 font lol) was all about my shortcomings

and the rest of the 3-page letter was about Sara. I am sadden to say SHE IS NUTS

lol it's taken me 2 weeks to get over this letter and I can now laugh a bit.

She shared with me that she would watch her daughter like a hawk around Sara

because she feels Sara might cause serious harm to her daughter because of her

MR. Mind you we are talking about her Rambunctious 6 year old daughter who was

sporting a cast at the age of 2... she thought she could fly couch to couch

:/ She said her daughter for the past 3 years has come home with bumps

bruises, scratches and scrapes all caused by my daughter. My family (kids, hubby

and in-laws) were floored that she could write these things to me, especially

knowing how rowdy her own daughter is. The last paragraph of her letter

basically said it all, she does not see us as ever being close, well she said

exactly

" I see our kids grown and gone before we ever have any closeness " and she said

for me not to worry over the holidays because she will say little to nothing

to me and she kept her promise lol she said little to nothing to me over

Thanksgiving. I bailed for home on Friday, Wedn. night and Thurs. was pushing it

all ready lol

I tried, I was denied and I will move on without her. Sara is surround by

people who love her; respect her, and who aren't afraid of her, to have to spend

any time with someone who is not friendly. Ironically when Sara had one of her

Neuro appts. this year a psych consulted with me about Sara. I asked about

any dangers Sara might pose and he assured me Sara was as dangerous as any other

young child, I assumed he meant at a kinder level or something.

The year is almost over and Christmas will be spent at home. My baby sister

might come to town and my brother has already reserved his room here heehee

both understand the family get-togethers will be different than years passed.

Thank you all so much for the support you all have shown me, I guessed I

lived in rainbowland and thought siblings had to be soooooooo close to exist. I

have found out recently that this situation I am in is very common in families,

I just never thought it would happen in mine. Hey thank you again for

the late night chat when I received my letter, couldn't have put this in the

right perspective without you
