Hi everyone! Thanks Marsha! I'm . I'm 37 (will be 38 on 10/12.) My husband, , 46, is currently in his 3rd week of 6 1/2 weeks of radiation therapy to his neck area for mouth cancer. This is a 2nd recurrence of the mouth cancer. We have a daughter, Shelby, who will be 3 on 11/6. They pulled 's bottom teeth before beginning treatment and now his throat is getting pretty raw. He's having a hard time eating anything. Also he gets a shot in his stomach everyday before radiation that makes him sick to his stomach. He's so frustrated and down right now. Anyhow - sorry this is so long....thanks for listening. I'm just looking for people "in the same boat" as us, I guess!

Marsha - thanks so much! Yes our daughter is sooo healthy. You know - we've had so many blessings from God, her being one of them. I wasn't supposed to be able to have children and along she came! She is incredibly smart and has never been sick! Anyhow - I guess I'm doing ok. I look at my precious husband and how brave he is. He works a full time job - plus works at night at Walgreens about 2 - 3 nights/week plus all day Saturday. He hasn't missed any work, yet. He's just a wonderful man. I just wish he would find God. I'm a born again Christian and he is not. So I pray a lot that God speak to him during this time. Thanks for the thoughts and for letting me "speak."

Hi Marsha! Thanks! had a rough night last night. Poor baby - he came home from work totally beat. Couldn't make it to his part time job. I'm glad he didn't push himself to go. The Dr. told us that now is NOT the time for to push himself if he is tired or run down. So he went right to bed and slept pretty much all night. He really needed it! Thanks for asking!
