Guest guest
Oh, this sounds like fun, Pamela! I'd love to do something like that! :-) Next Year's Gathering > > Sandy Maine offers consultations, including tours. I consider her my mentor. She has always been tremendously supportive and helpful. I would gladly call her to make the arrangements. Guest guest
That does sound like fun! I'd love to do that tour. Potsdam is only about 2 hours from me, too. I've spent a lot of time on her web site this week (since I received a $10 gift certificate. <grin> and am trying to figure out how to spend it) Pretty cool place and a person with good social and ecological values who has lived by them for a long time. I remember when she started the business and was really pleasantly surprised by how big the company has grown. Next Year's Gathering > > Sandy Maine offers consultations, including tours. Guest guest
Pam, >>At the gathering, having members talk about a special aspect of what they do, well, that's how I prefer to learn. During the sessions, I thought, " Hey, maybe I could offer to talk about Private Labeling and how to branch into that market. " Ryhanen and I spoke with each other about possibly discussing private label soaps versus signature soaps. I had told nne and Shaye last Saturday that if there was extra time we would gladly do this. For next year~if is still game~she and I could talk about these types of soaps and what's involved from our soapmaking points of view and an eye-on-the-bottom-line business points of view.<< I would love to hear a talk about that topic! Great idea ~ I would definitely be interested! Thanks, Pam! nne http://bathtubjunkie.star-shaped.org/
