I've used corn oil in soap before. I haven't subbed it for olive

but have used it. It makes the soap really really soft for a long

long time but the soap eventually hardens up and is quite nice.

Corn oil in soap ... that's pretty cool ... but anything with corn sounds

good to me, as I am originally from the great state of Indiana ... LOL!!!!!
