VERY comfy at a size 6. I think that's a reasonable size to maintain

with my body type and frame. Wouldn't mind being a 4, but I think

that would be a total struggle for me.

I wear jeans that are sizes 6, 8, and 10 all from the same store. Go

figure :) I like the fit of the 6s best though. When I started BFL,

size 8 jeans were my ideal goal, never thought I'd make it into a 6.

I know exactly how you feel! After having a baby I have to wear 14 because

of my waist but they are baggy in the butt and legs. My ideal size is a 6/8.

I'm 5'6 " and my ideal size is a 4 (and I'm on my way!!! From size 16

to a loose 10 in only three months!)

Wow! You know I don't know why anyone who wants to lose weight

wouldn't do BFL. A 16 to a loose 10 in 3 months! Congrats!

I am 5'1 " and started at a comfie 12 and am down to a very loose 10

and can wear an 8 comfortably depending on brand/cut. And this in

about 6 weeks. I love BFL and have definitely converted from the 12

week challenge mentality to that of a lifetime mentality.

I don't know that there is an " ideal " size. It all depends on one's

frame, height, built etc. I've worn everything from a size 16 to a

size 4. I'm a 12 right now, and I feel huge. I loved wearing the

4/6; that's what my goal is right now, but even an 8 will thrill me.

That's why I asked " what is your ideal size " :P

Wow! congratulations on your progess! Do you have pictures posted?

I wish I had stuck with the program in January, instead of wallowing

in self-indulgence. Then I, too, would be talking about loose 10s,

instead of massively tight 16s....<sigh>

Is it my imagination or have manufactures made their clothing sizes

smaller?? Seems to me that years ago if a woman wore a size 10 or

under she was quite tiny..anything smaller than a size 8 and you

shopped in the kids department! LoL! Now they are making a size ZERO

for $%#! sake! I think tagsizes are all a headgame played (oh I can

fit into a GAP 10 but not a REAL ten! wazzup with that?)

I agree, Joni, a ten is not a ten is not a ten. Depending on the

manufacturer, I used to wear anything from a 2 to a 9. I just

stopped paying attention. I knew I looked good, and if it looked

good on me, I bought it regardless of the size (you can always cut

out the label!).

Joni-

I totally agree about clothing sizes! You can even go to the same

store and not fit into the same size. :(

This is why I hate shopping for clothes!

Thats funny cause gap always runs small for me. I can fit into an

Old Navy 12 and 14 if they are those loathed low riders but I have to

squeeze to get into a gap 14. Except for my boy cut capris - they

are 14 and fall off me. I hate sizes. There is no consistency.

When I say my goal is a size 7 I am talking about Express size 7

since those are my favorite.

I am working to get back to my 10. I complainied how

ugly I was and fat I was at a 10 but it really was not

so bad. I promise I won't complain about that again.
