WORKOUT???

When is it best to do Weight Workouts....I have heard that it is best to do

the Cardio in the mornings, but does it matter when the weight training

workout is done.....The best time for me would be in the afternoons, but I do

not want to mess it up by not doing it first thing in the mornings......Any

advice would be Greatly appreciated...Thanks In Advance :-)

The best time to do any work out is when you will do it. If trying

to do your workouts in the AM will lead you to missing them, or

resenting them, then it is much better to do them in the afternoon.

That being said, I believe it is mostly the cardio that is enhanced

by an AM time, since the idea there is to be in a fasting state. I

keep hearing that fat burning is increased by doing it then, but I've

never seen any kind of statistic, like " most people will see a 5%

increase... " or something like that. I don't even know if the

increase is significant enough for anyone to really worry about it.

I happen to be a morning work-out kind of gal; I know that if I don't

do it first thing, I won't do it at all.

Agree with everything Alys said. I really think that doing your

workout whenever you WANT to do it will be the best for you. I'm

like Alys in that, if I don't do it in the morning, I will never find

the time. I totally hate the thought of working out until I'm DOING

it and then I'm really into it. Most people find that out. I do the

Hussman thing and say 'I'll just do 5 minutes' and usually end up

doing the whole thing!

I do my weight lifting between 12 and 2 most times :)

It works for me!
