Guest guest
Sorry - you named the two exercises I would have suggested. Rita butt I need some good butt excercises. I do everything I can think of and the butt and upper theigh areas are still my biggest problem areas. Is is so frustrating because my upper body is muscular and defined. I even have definition in my abs! My lower body is so stubborn. I know I am developing muscle but the size of my legs will not budge. Does anyone have any exercises that really target these areas? I do squats and lunges. Thanks.
Guest guest
Altho you cannot spot reduce one area, if you continue doing those lunges, squats and then add in some stair stepping, elipital, walking/jogging/sprinting, bicycling, roller blading, wouldnt hurt either..they more variety you add the more you will wittle away the last of your stubborn bodyfat.. <<joni>> *A diamond is a piece of coal that stuck to the job*
Guest guest
Are you squatting heavy enough? Squatting is such an " all over body " exercise in that you recruit so many other areas just to stabilize the bar on your back. I can't help but think that you may need to add some weight to your squat in order to really build the muscle. If you still have fat in these areas continue your cardio and keep eating clean. If you stick with it long enough squatting can reshape your butt. Stasia
Guest guest
I have to agree with Stasia. I am only in week two however, I have been what I called before BFL " working out " for two years. ONLY now do I think that I am working out right, (Bill's Way). I did squats and lunges yesterday and today, my butt is sore! But it's a GREAT sore feeling. Noelle > Are you squatting heavy enough? Guest guest
Do you use the smith machine for squats? I used to and then I changed my excercises. Is is better to use a bar or the smith machine? > Are you squatting heavy enough? Guest guest
We have no machine for squats and no bar at my little gym. Any suggestions? Rita Re: butt Do you use the smith machine for squats? Guest guest
> We have no machine for squats and no bar at my little gym. Any suggestions? No olympic bar? That's the long one that goes on your upper-back. If there's none of those, you can certainly do squats with dumbbells in your hands hanging down at your sides.
