We are in need of main dishes if anyone is interested in bringing

something. I think we've got the desserts pretty well covered now.

I was thinking of bringing a Chinese desert that's really great and

simple to make, but I don't know if it'll make the ride ok or not.

It's called almond float. There's 2 versions. Basically you make

almond Jello but one uses milk, the other doesn't. If I can keep

that cool for the ride, I can just finish it there. It's pretty much just

canned stuff after that.

It's very sweet and all exotic fruits...a wonderful summer desert.

Hi Colleen-I'm still hoping to go to the gathering, and I plan to make my

Oriental Salad.
