Guest guest
Ok I hadn't been to our site in quite a while (shame on me!) Can someone else go to our site http://www..org and tell us if you also get the new " Tripod Sidebar " Now I don't know about anyone else, but if that thing comes up for everyone, it really looks cheap and unprofessional. I'm going to look into making part of my site accessible to nne so she can build our site without banners, ads and that annoying gross sidebar. Honestly... how these hosting companies take advantage of being a free service is crazy! The pages are tiny now with that sidebar open and a top banner. I'm not sure, but this may be their way of displaying more stuff with all the popup blockers out there. I'm running a popup blocker so they may be able to detect it and then display this sidebar accordingly. Personally.... they can see too much of what I'm running if that's the case. Off to contact my web host to see how to set this up so nne can build a proper website that looks as professional as our members. Guest guest
I get a banner ad at the top and at the bottom. There's nothing on the side. LOL, and don't ask me if we're running any pop-up blockers cause that's 's department! Guest guest
Thanks so much, Terri. I used to get banner ads at the top and bottom of our CNYSoapmakers.org Web site, but now that we've installed popup blockers and such at home, I get nothing. It looks nice and clean! hehe Looking forward to working on our Web site ~ got your e-mail about the password; will work on it tonight! Guest guest
Hi Terri, I get the tripod sidebar if I go to our site and even if I close it, it pops up every time I change pages. Also the bottom ad banner on last year's gathering page is sometimes is higher and hides some of the supplier info posted there. H.
Guest guest
Ok so it isn't just me and it acted the same for me too. Don't know about the rest of you, but I'll offer up free hosting in the back end of my site to get rid of all those banners and side bar thingys and whatnots that just make our site look so unprofessional. nne... I still want you to build it. I just don't have the time like I used to. I'll be in contact about what you'ld like to do... I can install a pmachine for you to use (that's just like my blog) if that would make building any easier... My host wasn't sure how I could section part of my site off for you other than standard ftp access or install a pmahine like program for you to use, but we're still tossing a few things around. Anyway.... I'll write you in a few minutes LOL Terri -- Re: Tripod Sidebar?? Hi Terri, I get the tripod sidebar if I go to our site and even if I close it, it pops up every time I change pages.
