Guest guest
Colleen I warned you a long time ago that they get bad weather down there. My girlfrield lives in NC and they lose power a lot of times due to ice and hurricanes....and they're not anywhere near the ocean either. One time they were without electricity and heat for over a week. The smart thing to do is invest in a generator. My friends sure wish they had. They have a gas insert in their fireplace but it doesn't do much good since the fan won't work without power. So take heed and try to get a generator by next season. This is the first " bad " weather we've run into. Not bad for me because my fridge & cupboards are stocked up, so I don't have to drive anywhere. We do have a big generator. We had to in NY because our power would go out evertime the wind blew too hard, or a car crashed into a utility pole! Of course, is in NY now, so he isn't here to hook it up should we need it. Doesn't it always figure! Colleen Country Meadow Creations http://www.countrymeadowcreations.com
