Abstracts of articles can be found by going to the National Library of Medicine's PubMed web site at www.pubmed.gov. A simple search engine allows you to retrieve information that has appeared in peer-reviewed research journals. At the Pub Med site you can use the Lonesome Doc system to electronically order full text articles from your local medical library. The cost is approximately $10 per article. Go to your local medical library Look up and make copies of the articles you would like to read. State university medical libraries are open to the public, and many private universities also allow the public to use their facilities. Go to the author's web page IIt often has the full text of the published articles on the site. Go to the online journal where the article was published. Some journals require a paid subscription and password, while others allow free access to full text articles.
