Deb, to make the lids easier to get on, you can find like something

roundish like a dowel (I used a butter knife handle) and run it very firmly

around the inside rim and that sort of shapes the opening to accept the

lids instead of fighting against them.

The shaker containers in the pix on my site were a one time purchase. They

have been long gone now. I think they were actually spice shakers and the

holes were a little bit smaller than on the shakers you can find today. I

thought they were harder to shake the powder out.

You have to check the archives to find the last thing posted about

the salt tube buy. I didnt order any so I really didnt pay that close of

attention. Sorry.

Deb im really not close to RIT at all. I live about 20 minutes East of

Rochester, North of Rt 104. Up not too far from Lake O.

Shay/powder shakers..

Hi Shay-I can't get an answer from the old supplier we used quite

some time ago for those cardboard powder shakers-I really like the

ones you are using-they look diferent from those old ones I " fight

with " to get the tops on. Could you divuldge your source? I only need

about 50 or so right now-use them for my herbal deodorant powder

which isn't a huge seller. Have you heard anything from

depasquale about her buy on salt tubes? She had said the 2nd week in

Feb. so I wondered if I missed something.thanks! We are going out your

way to pick up our son from school next week-Do you live close to RIT?

Thanks shay-that would help, but I am all out of shakers! :o I would

like more of the more natural cardboard type-I see sks is now

carrying a new larger shaker in the plastic and it looks like they

have fixed their " hole " problem but I really want the ones I bought

before. Any ideas on suppliers? I was hoping to meet up on one of

these trips out there. My causin also lives up near the lake-he works

for Kodak. Henrietta seems like a pretty nice area-Rob is without a

car at the moment so I worry a lot less about the traffic and him

driving!;)

Deb I dont have a steady supplier. I have a huge box that I got from

someone (but not a supplier) a while back that I can share with you if you

want I can send to you.

What day are you comming? RIT is about 30-45 minutes away depending on

traffic and stuf. I ask what day because I will be in the hospital for a

short stay in two weeks. And I dont think I will be able to meet after that

for a little while.

Henrietta has gotten soooo busy its crazy there LOL.
