Hi ,

I have the one called the Euro-Pro Ultra Steam Shark. www.sharkomecare.com is

thier site. It's a handy item to have. Does a great job on floors, windows,

carpets, and the cabinets. It's also great for cleaning off spilled oils, wax

and stuff.

Does anyone have a hand held steam cleaner? If you have one, do you like

it?

Hi ,

I asked for and got a Dirt Devil Spot Scrubber for Christmas. Tried it once and

it didn't do anything! I have dogs who always seem to be tracking something onto

the living room carpet and I really hoped this would help. I do better with a

sponge and some spray. It's not really a steam cleaner I guess but I wasn't sure

what you were looking at.

OT- hand held steam cleaners

Does anyone have a hand held steam cleaner? If you have one, do you like

it? I realize they won't do everything advertised on TV but what ever does?

I'm interested in using one for cleaning windows, disinfecting the bathroom

and litter boxes, cleaning & disinfecting animal accidents on carpets. Any

feedback pro or con will be much appreciated.

Thanks,

H.

I am an infomercial GEEK! I love them LOL. I got the shark steam

cleaner for christmas and it does just about everything it does on

tv. Stemed the burnt food right off my stove no problem, cleaned my

tile floor no problem, made my sink shine and removed soap scum from

my shower with no effort at all. I LOVE it. It's sort of a pain to

lug all the pieces out and stuff but cleaning is basically

effortless. it also uses a LOT of towels...Get some cheapo ones

from walmart.

Thank you Bill, Katy and for your responses. Bob bought me the

Bissell Little Green Clean Machine several years ago and what a waste of

almost $100 that was! I didn't want to make the same mistake again. I'm

pretty sure I'll buy one now but I need to decide between the hand held or a

larger floor model.

Well, I have one called the Steam Buggy that was on infomercials a

couple of years ago. It didn't do half as well as they make it look on

TV. It didn't even touch the soap scum on the shower walls and it didn't

remove mildew on the caulk in the shower either. I wasted my money. But

they've probably improved these immensely by the sounds of what other

people on the list are saying. I do have a suggestion, though. Don't buy

it from TV. Try to buy it from a local store so that if you're not

satisfied you can return it easily instead of trying to ship it back.

Hi ,

Thank you for the warning! I was debating buying one from

www.overstock.com but what you said makes a lot of sense so I'll look for

one locally. I know they hype things up on infomercials which is why I

asked you guys.
