Guest guest
Hi Terri! Yeah, it's been very quiet around here lately. Hope everyone's holding up ok in this long winter. I went for a few days where I was making soap like crazy and now I just can't get motivated to do much more. Looking through craft show applications and debating on whether or not to splurge for a new canopy. The one I want is here http://www.flourish.com/archtop.htm#top and pretty pricey but it'll last me forever. My poor EZ-Up that I had for a few years finally bit the dust. It took one too many tumbles. The frame broke and poked holes into the canvas. I always hated doing shows with a chance of bad weather. My stomach would be in knots just waiting for my canopy to come crashing in. Gee, I think I'm talking myself into that Flourish canopy as I type this! :-) So, that's what I've been up to. That and browsing through garden plans on the internet so I can feel like Spring is just around the corner. Stay warm everyone! Katy Everyone busy? The list has been dead for days. Everyone busy? I gotta admit I've been busy myself working on my site.... yep still working on it, but this time when I say a week. I mean a week more!! I can't wait to get this behind me. The new program was a bit more involved than I thought and it's a big pain loading products, but I'm getting there. I've changed packaging and labels since the last time I took product pictures.... than goodness I've had a few orders come in so I can quickly snap a few pic's to get the new look on the site. I'll let you all know when it's done so you can take a look-see. Terri
Guest guest
So I looked at the canopy & thought, " that's really cool. " Then I looked at the price and thought, " Holy Cow! " LOL! But I think it's certainly worth the price if you do alot of outside shows. And your set-up was really nice when Terri & I saw it a couple of years ago. I think that a nice canopy like that would make your display look even more wonderful! Besides, you'll probably get more business & that'll pay for the canopy over & over. I got the catolog the other day too. It was awesome & very helpful. You're a peach! Guest guest
Oh, glad you got it, Colleen. Hope it helps some. Yeah, the canopy is expensive but it's the cheapest of it's kind. I know I'll be paying it off for a little while but have to think about whether I intend to continue doing shows long enough to make it worth my while. :-) I like that I can use the frame with curtains for indoor shows too. That really helps. We'll see! Katy Re: Everyone busy? So I looked at the canopy & thought, " that's really cool. " Then I looked at the price and thought, " Holy Cow! " LOL! Guest guest
Yea, im just kinda going day by day here at a slow roar. I've got a little bit of surgery in about 3 weeks sooo I've been kinda pracitcing my knitting again (havnt knitted since I was maybe 10) figured that would be a good thing to take with me. I've been making some of those fancy fluffy scarves that are all the rage right now. Also ordered a tatting book, thought that would be good to practice that too some. Then my first show in April 3 so I will be gearing up for that soon too but Im not gonna get carried away. Every day I say I need to fix up my website but every night that hasnt happened. Hiding in my happy place till spring Shaye
