Guest guest
Dear Listmates, Will someone please clarify what can be billed as 98943? We are having several bills disputed, especially the hip adjustment. They are saying that the hip is part of the pelvis. I learned how to adjust hips in extremity adjusting, not in pelvis adjusting class. This to me is a distinctly different adjustment. When I reference the 2006 Chiro Code book Pelvis is defined as the sacroiliac joint. And Extraspinal is considered " non-spine " Does the hip joint directly articulate with the spine? Does the glenohumeral joint directly articulate with the spine? Please let me know what you think and any advice on fighting these refusals would be helpful.. Thank-you in advance, Conroy, DC Portland, OR __________________________________________________
