Guest guest
Docs..... For years I remained under the illusion by participating in such boards and committees, such as under recent discussion, could actually produce results and justify the efforts and time spent in pursuit thereof; 1) identify problems; 2) ponder the options; 3) labor incessantly to arrive at 'a PLAN'; 4) present it to the field; 5) have a few register their disagreement, disinterest, disinclination, or distress...over that 'solution'.... 6) see the process of that prior effort jettisoned with the newly emerging and now-concerned individuals...who wonder why THEY weren't informed in the first place.... So, whatever committee that had just labored a year or so, at great effort, to arrive at any given 'solution'.... would suddenly be confronted by those who by various excuses, felt they had been left out and the process was thereby flawed ---- This kind of tactic is a sure way to stifle the much touted 'proactive' process leading to the solution required ultimately in problem solving....ie....ACTION based on that process....does endless delay and debate serve our interests?..... I'VE GOT IT!!! SURE....lets form a committee to study THAT problem too..... ....right..... J. Pedersen DC
