Guest guest
Loree, It WILL happen. Kali was just a few months shy of her 8th birthday before she was pottied. Up until that point, I found myself thanking God that she was small & better likely to be able to fit into diapers at an older age. I had figured that if it hadn't by that point, it may never happen. I was just about resigned to the possibility of a lifetime of diapers. I reasoned that since she was SO severely delayed in so many areas due to the DS & a host of many medical issues, that this was to be expected. At the time, I didn't know of anyone else whose child was so old & still in diapers full time. Kali is now a few months shy of her 18th birthday, she's not only potty trained.....she takes care of her own personal 'lady' needs; all by herself. Keep the faith & chin up. {{{{Loree}}} ~Sandy In a message dated 6/11/2005 5:57:55 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time, Loree5 writes: I can't wait for my turn!!!
